"Sorry fans and friends I wont be on the field tonight. I've done everything I need to do and proved Im ready but I guess I don't know my body as well as others. Good luck out there my boys"
Then deletes his tweet.

More than likely just not playing and deleted because he essentially blasted the team doctors.

Who's the number 1 guy I should use to replace him tonight? No MVS on the waivers but I picked up Sammy Watkins, and Hardeman, N'Keal Harry, and the GB TE who scored last week (I forgot his name) are still available. I'll probably roll with Watkins but I'm starting to second guess.

This is what the beat writer says:
quote:
Green Bay Packers: Allen Lazard’s core muscle injury opens the door one more time for Marquez Valdes-Scantling to prove he can be a reliable weapon for Aaron Rodgers. Should we expect standard WR2 target rates for MVS, or will it be more of an all-hands-on-deck approach to fill the targets vacated by Lazard?
A. I tend to think it’ll be a more all-hands-on-deck approach. I don’t expect Valdes-Scantling to see too much of an increase in targets in Lazard’s absence, rather a fairly even distribution of Lazard’s would-be targets to Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Tyler Ervin, Robert Tonyan and Jace Sternberger — all non-wide receivers who have proven, to different extents, capable of catching passes. — Matt Schneidman

Watkins in the safer play

Got MVS off waivers this week, and can go with him or Kelce tonight. I’m up by 79 points and my opponent has Mahomes and Aaron Jones.
MVS or Kelce? I’m leaning Kelce.

They're really going to wait until actives are released an hour before the game to rue this dude officially out?

Davante Adams, Kenny Clark & Rashan Gary are out vs. the Falcons.
Yeah they really waited. They hate your fantasy team.

Couldn't cut someone prior to today for contingency and couldn't move the dude to IR to pick someone up.
So now I lose out on all the KC choices and have to pick between some dudes named Malik Taylor, Alamide Zaccheaus and Darrius Sheppard

I think Zaccheaus has been the next receiver after Gage.
