Looks like both teams improve to me. I don't understand the problem. You might be taking a little bit of risk if shady doesn't pan out, but you can afford to give up what your giving up for the chance.
I always say if anyone in your league thinks there's collusion then offer a better trade. If no one offers a better trade then they have no room to bitch.
Last year in my dynasty league I traded away two bench receivers for dalvin Cook, there were some rumblings that I was giving up too much. But I needed a running back and the other guy needed receivers and neither receiver was starting regularly for me. This year cook is blowing up, I'm 3-0 and the other guy is 2-1. It's all about making the teams better.
