10 Team 0.5 PPR Superflex League
I’ve been in this league for 10 of the 15 years it has been going. It’s a fun and competitive league with good owners. We start a W/R/T in addition to the Q/W/R/T position. It’s a 2 keeper league and I have the 6th overall pick this year. Below are the options that I have along with what round I would be giving up for them. Which two would you keep?

Jefferson-1st
McCaffrey-2nd
Mixon-2nd
Burrow-4th
Dak-5th
Mike Williams-6th
Aiyuk-8th
Hollywood Brown-11th
Rachaad White, Perine, DJ Moore, or Lockett would all be 11th or 12th round picks depending on who else is kept.

I’m pretty set on keeping Jefferson for a 1st. My 2nd keeper is where I’m having trouble. I’ve had McCaffrey in some bad years so I’m a little gun shy of going with him in the 2nd. Burrow for a 4th is tempting since this is a Superflex league. I really like White, Moore, and Lockett as value picks especially White.

Jefferson is going 1 overall, so losing the 6th is a deal.

..and get the Elijah Mitchell handcuff later but if you start 2 QBs, Burrow may be the 2nd guy.

Everyone starts 2 QBs in this league and the 3rd round on is usually where the run on QBs starts since a lot of guys are kept in the 1st and 2nd round. I don’t think I could go wrong starting off with Jefferson and McCaffrey. I’ve just been burned by McCaffrey in the past and I’m not sure I want my 1st actual pick to come in the 3rd. It would almost certainly be a QB depending on who’s left on the board. If I kept Jefferson in the 1st and Burrow in the 4th, that almost guarantees that my 2nd round pick is going to be the best RB available and the 3rd would be best WR/RB available unless my QB2 is sitting there.

I still kind of like Rachaad White in the 12th round though. I had him as Fournette’s handcuff last year and he basically took over midway through the season.

CMC is a T6 1st round pick in redrafting leagues, so I would keep him and get E. Mitchell later.

Look at QBs in the 3rd/4th.

I’m going to keep Jefferson for my 1st rd pick. I’m still going back and forth on McCaffrey for a 2nd or Burrow for a 4th. Honestly, I’m leaning Burrow for a 4th since it’s a Superflex league and he’s throwing to Chase and company. It’s tough to pass on McCaffrey since he’s a monster when healthy. Which would you keep in these rounds?

Any other opinions? My keeper deadline is today and I’m racking my brain on this one. In this league, you almost have to have 2 solid QBs to win the league.

I'd keep the two Qbs in a superflex unless your scoring system in punitive. Jefferson is usually 4th overall or later in a superflex so you arent getting any additonal value keeping him. I took him 8th in ours last night after 7 QBs were drafted. Burrow was the 4th overall pick and Dak the 9th (i'd never take Dak that early but he is easily a 2nd rd in a SF).

You can then spend 3 picks on whatever combo of WR/RB you want.

Here is a mock done recently by espn that played out reasonably similar to my superflex league.

10-team mock

I don’t think we’ll have as many QBs go as fast as that mock draft. We have a league rule that allows a team to own a max of 2QBs. Only exception is that we can own a 3rd QB if that QB is one of our 2 starters’ backup. That usually pushes some of the quality QBs down to the 3rd-6th rounds.
