Keeper league - member leaving - new member options

Long running league. Keeper league and draft order already set. Member decided to leave last minute.
What is the consensus on replacing the member:
1)Let new member take draft position already decided and have keeper option from previous owner's team
2)Let new member take draft position already decided and no option for keeper from previous owner's team
3)repick draft order and no option for keeper
Leaning 1. Makes the most sense.

1 seems like the fair choice

#1 is the only fair option. Nobody would join a league where they are at the disadvantage of not being able to pick a keeper when everyone else did.
