It would be fantastic if the the ESPN fantasy crew would put out a video/write up on ideas surrounding this.
Would be far more valuable than half the shite they spew out on a daily basis.

FWIW I found that idea on the CBS Sports Fantasy App. Maybe that guy has done that in his CBS league before.

I am doing something very similar to this in the league I am commissioner of. Only difference is I am asking everyone to to set their preferred starting lineup as they normally would. If they have a player on the teams affected, they will name an alternate player prior to Thursday’s game. If the Pitt/Tenn game gets canceled, I will swap the players accordingly or do a score adjustment (whatever ESPN allows me to do.). I would prefer everyones lineup be set without the alternate players in lineup to avoid any confusion or BS within the league

Yeah it will be easier for score adjustments if they set their lineup with the titans/Steelers players and then announce to you who their replacement player would be.
At least that’s how I decided to go with it. Except I gave them til 11am Sunday to let me know.

I said before Thursday’s game, but what I really mean is I must have your replacement player before that player’s game starts.

So we count this as a bye week? We have no IR spots. I let our league vote on adding covid IR spots and it didn’t pass.

If the league reshuffles BYE weeks then that’s what I would do. Can you imagine if PITT or TEN has a positive test come rematch date?
It’s week 4. You’d have to imagine something is going to hit the fan.
