I would try to get something for him...maybe a cheap pick, or ship him to a scrub team for someone not is good but is worth a roster spot.
Or wait to see for sure what they do with him. I don't think he'll be shut down for the entire season.

I won't lie. I saw no improvement from him during the time that he was on my team, even after he was put in the starting lineup. He's still only 19 though.
