Trade advice please

Standard 10 team non ppr
Start 1qb 2rb 2wr 1 flex 1k 1 DST
My roster:
Rodgers, Trubisky
Connor, White, Miller, Mack, AJones
ABrown, KAllen, Boyd, Gordon, JBrown
Njoku
His Roster:
Dalton, Stafford
McCaffery, McCoy, Barber, Howard
MThomas, Woods, Fuller, Robinson, Godwin
Gronk, Burton
My strength are my WRs and am looking to shore up RBs in case Bell returns and Connor goes into worshare with him
He has proposed giving me Howard and Barber for Mack and Boyd.
Statistically the trade seems beneficial on paper but my gut is not giving a good feeling esp considering Howard losing more reps to Cohen and Mack looking great in 1st game back.
I have tried getting McCoy mainly cause of his pedigree but he has said no so far.
What says the experts on here?
