I would make that trade if you have decent WR and RB depth.
Or try and make your bench better by dealing Mason to the CMC owner.

I would struggle with AJ Brown being out. Leaning towards turning it down. I may counter offer cook and Diontae Johnson instead

I put the odds at under 50% CMC even plays this year. People seem to think that’s a crazy sentiment but an Achilles injury is nothing to mess with.

Diontae just got a QB change and should be more valuable than weeks 1 & 2.
I don’t think AJB is out more than another week or two, but not positive there.
Shaheed is an awesome weapon for the Saints but I think he’ll have a plenty of weeks where he doesn’t come down with that long TD and he’ll put up 8-10pts.

Whether CMC plays or not, he’d have the SF backfield locked up.
If CMC comes back then Mason is back to handcuff value.
Giving up Cook + Shaheed is a fair value to potentially have the #1 player in the second half of the season.
Another option:
- Send Mason + Shaheed/Johnson for a WR upgrade.

I think I’d rather have Cook than CMC at this point.
