What the hell has been up with TEs this season?

Hard to find one tight end that’s been consistent for three weeks. Has to be a historically bad year for the group. Or am I crazy?

Lowest number of TDs in the first 3 weeks since 2017. Not that this is a direct relationship only to TEs but scoring is down. Definitely picked up during week 3.
TE position sucks for sure blows for the first 3 weeks. Outside of McBride, late round TE was the play so far.

Ive just given up on the TE search and riding out Andrews for a bit.
There’s nobody on my bench that is a clear drop.
Dowdle and Christian Watson are candidates, but I’m not sure the possible upgrade to a Conklin/Ertz type of guy is going to so far exceed Andrews that it justifies getting rid of the potential of my bench guys.

I'm thinking of streaming. Kraft is available. Love seems to like him. I may just got that route and drop both Andrews and Kmet.

With Njoku out, I've been rolling with Ertz who's been consistent this year. He won't win me any games, but he hasn't put up any duds yet.

They basically all have 1 td and no explosive yardage games. So it’s a single spike week for each in a 4 week sample.
