10-team; 0.5ppr; start 2RB 2WR 1TE 1Flex; FAAB Waiver Wire

My roster:
RB Alex Collins
RB Royce Freeman
RB Peyton Barber
RB Chris Thompson
RB Matt Breida
WR Antonio Brown
WR Michael Thomas
WR Adam Thielen
WR Jordy Nelson
WR Tyler Lockett
TE Trey Burton

Notable Free Agents:
WR Quincy Enunwa
WR Brandon Marshall
RB TJ Yeldon
RB Austin Ekeler
RB James White
RB Bilal Powell
RB Jordan Wilkins
RB Phillip Lindsay
RB Marlon Mack
TE Jared Cook
TE Jonnu Smith

Already putting a bid in for TE Jared Cook to swap for Jordy Nelson for extra TE & potential Bye Week/Injury option Flex. Potential trade bait also with the TE injuries so far.

Not happy with week 1 performance of my RB’s but they each have some potential. Is it worth swapping any of them or Tyler Lockett out for these listed Waiver adds?

Who would you drop for Powell or Mack?

May be too early to tell, but I’d say Freeman. Looks like Lindsay will be the workhorse in Denver.

I would not take this advice.

I would drop Jordy or Lockett

Lindsay was a pleasant surprise in his NFL debut with the exact same rushing line (15-71-0) as starter Royce Freeman but with a pair of catches for 31 yards and a touchdown. Lindsay was a Cinderella story already as an undrafted free agent and native of Colorado who was plucky enough to earn a roster spot. Now, it looks like he has earned perhaps much more than that after out-touching Devontae Booker 17 to 4 and out-gaining him 102 to 15. While touches can always ebb and flow for reserve backs from week to week, Lindsay’s performance makes this feel more substantive and should earn him a big piece of the pie next week against Oakland. He’s a good gamble with long-term appeal, especially in PPR.

I said Ekeler above bc that's who I reeled in on waivers, but I had a bid in for Lindsey as well. They both seem solid.
