Oh Boy is right.
jcoop6 is the man. Again. Taking it all last week in the "Winner Take All Contest".
camlsu7 knows what it's like. Honkus gets a taste. Getting that Cash Money in the Smackdown Contests.
Tonight starts the first of 3 contests. The energized Patriots against the always tough Rams. Should be a good one.
Join the cool kids today. Ballers get those line ups in today!

There are 3 contests set up in the league: 2 "Smackdown Contest" (payouts vary) and a "Winner Take All" contest. The first Smackdown begins with the Thursday night games. The others are Sunday start times.
Entry participation varies from week to week. Doesn't always fill up. Settings recalibrate the pool and payout if it doesn't fill up.

Many online Youtube videos on how to approach it. These are recurring league contests. You play when you want. So, you pick a contest, pick which players you think will ball out. Gotta fit into the salary cap of $50k overall. Submit the line up. Entry fee is $5 per contest. Just for fun league really.
Now..
You can enter into a multitude of other contests outside of this league. I play for fun and generally set a bankroll of about $100/week. When my initial deposit runs out for the year, I'm done. It can be like gambling and addictive, so you need to set your limits.
Certain contests are easier to win like 50/50's, Head to heads. The larger tournaments are dart throws.
The "Classic" contests are where you select a line up (i.e. A QB, RB etc.) and fill out the roster up to $50k max. There are a variety of other contests:
All Game Styles
Classic
Create a 9-player lineup while staying under the $50,000 salary cap
Showdown Captain Mode
Create your team from 1 game, while staying under the $50,000 salary cap
Tiers: Draft Pick
Select 1 player from each tier. Each tier has players who were drafted in a different round.

Draft your Showdown team for a portion of a game.
Best BallNew
Draft a 20-player team in a slow or fast Snake Draft. Contests last multiple weeks. Top scorers at each position are your starters each week.

Madden Showdown Captain Mode
Create your team from 1 game, while staying under the $50,000 salary cap
