Can somebody fark a picture of Chris Paul, Pistol Pete Maravich and Chris Jackson? With something to the effect of being the all-time greatest point guards to play for a La. Team

I tried to do it in under an hour, but it looked retarded....
Patience... it's going to take some time. If you could post a couple reference images of each player you think would look good together (perhaps one where they are each shooting a jumper in a game or whatever) - you could help us help you...

Ok,here a good bit of pics you can choose. My only request is that you use the pic with CP3 and Pete in the same pic, as a pic along with a individual of each of the 2 and Jackson. Then from there just use your imagination on what you think looks best. This is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the source pics. I can't speak for all farkers, but my ability to brainstorm is much improved when I am provided images rather than words. Case in point:
I think my head just exploded - You are probably saying something fairly pedestrian here, but I felt like I did when I was in high school spending my lunch break with an exasperated teacher trying to explain some simple Calculus formula to me. I'm a bit tired and all that will probably make more sense to me.
As far as my imagination goes - I'm having trouble motivating it to use Chris Jackson. Just don't see why you are putting him in the equation.
What I DO find VERY COOL though is the way that CP3 has sort of "walked the path" that Maravich did....
Like the fact that CP was born in the city where Maravich first played high school ball... followed by their 1st round status and their immediate career successes upon joining a New Orleans franchise...
I read that PM immersed himself in religious philosophy after he left the NBA. Altough he was an outspoken and committed Christian, he also found Hinduism a particular area of interest.
What goes around, comes around indeed.

CJ was a great player when at LSU. I am still dumbfounded that they didn't win the NC with a team consisting of Chris Jackson and the two 7-footers--Shaq O'neal and Stanley Roberts.
CJ recorded the best freshman season in the history of NCAA basketball, as he set the NCAA record for points by a freshman (965), average points by a freshman (30.2) and single-game points by a freshman (55 at Ole Miss on March 4, 1989).
He was drafted after his Soph year and still managed to set school records for single-game three-pointers (10 vs. Tennessee on Feb. 10, 1990), career three-pointers (172 from 1988-90), single-season three-point attempts (246 in 1989-90), career three-point attempts (462 from 1988-90), consecutive free throws made (35) and single-season free throw percentage (.9095 in 1989-90) ... Finished his career ranked sixth in LSU history in scoring (1,854), second in scoring average (29.0), sixth in field goals made (664), eighth in free throws made (354), second in free-throw percentage (86.3) and fifth in three-point field goal percentage (37.2).
After leaving LSU he kinda lost it when he converted to Muslim and then faded into oblivion.

And a bunch of 3-pointer records about 2 years after the NCAA instituted it - He was a gifted athlete whose skillset put him ahead of the curve. He was an anomaly then, but I don't think he would be such a standout now, much less a stand-up person.
Just my opinion...

let me re word that for you my friend. The picture that has CP3 and Pete in the same pic, I want that used as a pic or if you can separate the 2 from that pic, along with one of the other pics of each player.
As for CJ being a great PG, in college he was one of the best.
But anything you can do to help with this pic would be greatly appreciated

I respect your opinion; however I believe differently. From my recollection of watching him play at LSU , he was a similar type player as Chris Paul.
Like I said, he lost it when he left LSU and got involved in the Muslim faith. I only speak of his LSU career and during that time he was a stand-up person and I admired his ability to overcome his Tourette's Syndrome.
I don't believe its fair to discount a player's accomplishments from the past by stating that their play wouldn't be as good today. Who knows how many top-notched players from history would be cast into mediocrity if they were to compete against athletes of today.

Sorry, I tried to do it while I was at work but couldn't get the computer to do anything but ring stuff up and run credit card tabs n' stuff.
UNCTarHeels - I can only speak for myself here...
I am not magical. Only Sawfiddle can pull farks out of his butt.
I am not obligated to fark every request on here. The pay is lousy and there are no benefits aside from the opportunity to interact with some really cool people and catch a glimpse of revisionist reality....
Most of the farks that get a quick response mean something (on some level) to the farker.
Most of the farks that get a slow response fall into one of three catagories:
1. Just plain dumb
2. :kige:
3. The request is for something that obviously means something to the farker (and may therefor require a little more time)
BigEasy is constantly doing requests for parents involving their kids, and has I'm sure left a few in-laws misty-eyed(and many others too, but y'all know he's the go-to).
If I was you, I would go back to the top of this thread and consider the level of discussion generated. Maybe think about which one of the three your request is.
