You should be worried about backwater if the levee doesn't hold around vidalia. 4 foot at airport.

I thought they said the levee north of Lake Providence? I haven't heard anything about expecting water anywhere near Ouachita if the levee fails in Vidalia.

Swartz will flood IF you live in Froggy Bottom after a 1/2" rainfall. However, I assume since you do have internet connection, you do not live in Froggy Bottom.
You are safe Chuck. If Bayou Lafourche was backed up, IP was still pushing water through Wham on a daily basis, and daily rainfall amounts were significant, then you would see flooding on Stubbs Vinson & Ritchie. Hang your hat along 139 and you will be fine.
