They had the big mac in 1966 a year before McDonalds introduced it.

Had one in Monroe back in the day right by the college. My favorite place to go when I was a kid.

#3 Mustard, pickles and onions was my go to.

I remember the one in Ruston but only vaguely, I think it was out on 167 headed toward Vienna.

When was this? I moved to Ruston in 1979 when I was in 3rd grade. I don’t recall seeing one of those there. Wasn’t much there back then moving from Dallas. Griff Burgers is still there. Not sure how because it wasn’t good. Guess because the burgers were always dirt cheap.

I would say sometime early to mid 70's; for some reason, I remember hearing Donna Fargo playing on the juke box there, either Funny Face or Happiest Girl in the whole USA, which woulda have to have been 1972 or later...I wanna say it was right there on the Vienna Hwy where you turn off to go to Cedar Creek, whatever the name of that road is.

I like Griff's, it reminds me of Whataburger 30+ years ago. I always hit it up when in Ruston.
