I went and stocked up on a freezer full of Chinese shrimp and crawfish before the tariffs hit

Should be outlawed in Louisiana.

Well, that’s the only thing tariffs accomplish so….

It bugs me that Walk Ons uses imported crawfish and shrimp. I've only eaten the food there twice and avoided any seafood.
The menu says: Some items served at this establishment may contain imported crawfish or shrimp.

My buddy runs a 45' Lafitte Skiff. He's been selling 10/15s, 20lbs or more for $3.50 a pound off the boat. I wouldn't say the prices are going up for the people who catch them. I remember seeing a price list from a factory in the late 90s and the docks were paying about $5 a pound for 10/15s and diesel was 90 cents a gallon.

Yeah, that makes zero sense. I know it’s all about cost but it’s not a good look, especially for Walk Ons.
