How many people?

Probably about 175 will attend. Just family and close friends.

I'm sure it's been said but make sure you take the time to eat. With all the saying hello and shaking hands/hugging my wife and I were lucky to have someone bring us one plate...which we shared.

Recently, there was a wedding at which there was one person assigned to the bride and groom to make sure they had drinks and food. This person would deliver to them since it was hard for them to move around and not get stopped by friends and well wishers. Looked like part of the catering team. I thought it was brilliant. Bride and groom always had drinks and small plates of food to eat while visiting. They loved it because they got to enjoy everything with no effort.

That sounds great. Thanks.

I thought it was worth whatever extra they may have paid. Couldn't have been that much to have someone for 4 hours or so to make sure the couple had the full experience at their own wedding.

I think they had a table at the front by the dance floor reserved for the bride and groom as well. Another great idea even if it's just two chairs at a table to put the drinks down or to sit when you would like to.

Oh, and at my niece's wedding, she changed out of the heels and into a pair of those white stacked and bejeweled flip flops so her feet wouldn't be sore for the honeymoon week.

And, at a wedding I went to in Mobile, there were cute little shiny tubs of multicolored flip flops and paper fans all over the reception for the women. I used the fan. It was July and it was hot in that museum. I still have the fan in my purse for sitting on airplanes when they don't have the air on full blast before takeoff, sometimes.

We plan on doing both of these. Thanks.

We had this. It was the staff lead that did this for us. As we got off the bus to go into the reception she introduced herself and took our first drink order. She was waiting to give it to us after our first dances.

While we didn't eat and drink that much, it was very appreciated. She was also the one who had to-go boxes waiting in out limo of all the food and cake for us to eat on the ride to the hotel and for the morning.
