Mama's Fried Chicken in Opelousas is the best I've had.

The best i've had in New Orleans was at Elizabeth's. Jacques-imo's is entirely too expensive for fried chicken.

Tough to say, but Puckett's Grocery in Franklin, Tennessee was the last fried chicken that I have had that really stood out for me.

I have only been there for breakfast. I'll make a point to go back sometime soon for lunch now.

Chester's--Gibson, LA (also the best fried frog legs)
Danny's--Morgan City, LA (also the best fried gizzards and rice dressing)

Haven't ben there a while, but they had good chicken and onion rings were good. Back Porch in Woodville has pretty good fried chicken.

The frog legs at Chesters are one of the most succulent things to put in your mouth.
