Stanley is another option in the Quarter...I haven't tried the breakfast food since they have reopened though...my parents did and liked it.

Stanley is overpriced, and just slightly above average.

I wasn't impressed. There was no twist. It was a very straightforward and unambitious menu. I was really dissapointed. For instance, the burger was just an ordinary American diner burger. It was like a waffle hourse burger but with better ingredients. I kept waiting for the twist, but it never appeared.

Maybe that's the twist.

I liked my Rueben and chocolate malt. I think he geared it toward families. The kobe beef and kim chee po boy sounded interesting.

Why people eat there, it's got to be the name. It's so people can say I ate at Scott Boswell's new restaurant. As you said, the food is very average to slightly above average, but at ridiculous prices.

I am guessing it has been open for all of three weeks now. I am willing to wait a while and go check it out.
Maybe he will adjust his menu and tinker with things some.
Going to eat at a Boswell restaurant is not a bad thing. At least he is one of the "celeb" chefs who is in his kitchen putting his heart into the food every night.

Court of Two Sister for a great Jazz brunch. Haven't been in a few years so can't testify as to the current quality.

It was great when I was there just last year...I'll second that motion.
