Except, I'm apparently one of the few people who doesn't really mind the upstairs dining area. I know everyone seems to love the "scene" of the downstairs dining room. It's always had a sort of rec room feel to me. If have my druthers, I'm just eating at the bar. All to say, I wouldn't get overly hung up on where they want to sit you.

I agree….
Upstairs is more intimate and quiet like on a date. Downstairs is more party. Sitting at the bar is the coolest.

I have only sit downstairs. I can get pretty loud at times.
Is it quieter upstairs?
It can also be pretty dark downstairs. We had use the flashlight on our phones to read the menu!
But the food and service are awesome.

Went last night, sweetbreads for app, so good, had the pompano, sat downstairs, great experience. Place 100% lived up to what I was hoping it would be. Highly recommend to anyone who hasn't been
