nice! is that the recipe you got from the lady from Senegal?
yep...although i did cheat and google a few other recipes for backup.
it was good but i forgot my reducing marinade/braising juices on the stove and burned it....so i had to piece together a small sauce from the remaining sitting chicken and onions.

awesome.
i got a black horse sandwich in this tourney.
papaw showed me this one when i was little and still today it's my favorite.
Ingredients:
- White Bread
- Smooth Peanut Butter
- Frito Lay Frito's Original
1. Place paper plate or paper towel neatly on counter
2. Take White Bread out of pantry, place next to paper plate/towel
3. Take Peanut Butter out of pantry, place next to paper plate/towel
4. Take Frito's out of pantry, place next to paper plate/towel
5. Take 2 slices of White Bread from bread loaf, return bread loaf to pantry after re-sealing.
6. Spread a generous amount of Peanut Butter on both slices of White Bread, then seal PB jar and place back in pantry.
7. Place freshly slathered slices covered in PB next to one another.
8. Open Frito's bag
9. Grab a generous handful of Frito's crunch them in hand delicately.
10. Then sprinkle crunched Frito's onto PB covered White Bread Slices, then reseal Frito's bag and place into pantry.
11. Place on side of the sandwich on top of the other to finish.
Voila!!!
I know, I know, a little weird....but think about both are salty substances but have opposite textures.
just try dammit.

Stuffed Bread
Wife gets a frozen loaf of French bread from the deli and adds Italian Sausage, Ham, Pastrami, Provolone and Spinach. Then bakes.

thanks. it's a classic with my family. i'd take that over pb&j or ham and turkey any day.
only problem is it doesn't keep for a long period of time, because the chips go soggy.

Klark, i used to mix up peanut butter and jelly and dip the bog scoop fritos into it like a dip.
Seems similar...will give it a shot.

None of you can make a sandwich half as good as a Darrel's Special.

I made a grilled black forest ham and havarti cheese sandwich for lunch yesterday that was pretty F-ing good, but I didn't feel like that was a good enough effort to include. I'm still thinking about mine.

Grilled cheese with bacon:
2 slices of your favorite bread (buttered)
cooked bacon (the amount is your preference)
pepper jack cheese
Assemble and grill and eat!
The only modification I make is to add home grown tomatoes when I have them.
simple and delicious!
I don't know how to post pics so there won't be any.
