Mi Cocina for margaritas--get the double barrel
Terilli's on lower Greenville for good atmosphere and great roof top. Food is good too.
Adair's in deep Ellum for a late night burger and PBR. The burger there is terrific and gets no love.
Deep Sushi in deep ellum for some rolls that aren't crazy dallas priced.
Bread winners for dessert or breakfast
Too many good places to list.

Amberjax in Trinity Groves is good. There are a couple other good places in that area as well.
For high end steaks I like Nick and Sams and III(3) Forks.

I enjoyed dinner and drinks at Top Knot during a recent visit.

Figured I'd just throw this in here while we're on the subject:
I'm likely moving to the North Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts area at the end of the summer. I know of a few restaurants down there like Hattie's, Lockhart Smokehouse and Boulevardier - any other great places to eat? Good spots to grab a beer?

checked out this thread and didn't see Hard 8 listed. That place is insane! They have like 8-10 smokers the size of small cars. Served the bbq right off of an open pit. brisket was excellent, sausage and ribs were really good.

Nova is pretty good food and less suburban touristy than Bishop Arts proper.
Eno's Pizza has a good beer selection and a bar downstairs and another upstairs. But snagging a table outside (only 8 or so tables out)on a Friday afternoon and people watching is nice. Their pizza can be good or average....hit & miss.
Bbbop is a casual asian noodle place good for a quick bite. A lot of people like it, I think its average.
Lucia is a good Italian place but tough to get a table.
Zen Sushi is good....Oddfellows is good for brunch/lunch
Emporium Pies has insanely good pies.....insanely good.
Bolsa- good farm to table place....really crowded so I dont go there anymore. They have a breakfast/lunch place down the street called Bolsa Mercardo thats good.
Now....for the tacos.....El Si Hay is in a little stand near Bishop Arts....people line up for their stuff. My favorite is Tacos Mariachi on Singleton Blvd.....under a 5 minute drive from Bishop Arts. Trompo is really good too but not much seating. There is a Taco Deli close by at I-30 and Sylvan.
Beer: Eno's......PhD (Pour House) has a good selection.......Ten Bell's Tavern has a pretty good selection and nice outdoor area and good pub food.....not sure how much longer it will be around as a developer is tearing everything east of Bishop arts down to build some suburban crap.......Small BrewPub....under a 5 minute drive from Bishop Arts on Jefferson next to Texas Theater where Oswald was caught.Their chef at SBP was nominated for a James Beard but she has left so not sure about the food now. Texas Theater shows art films and some more classic mainstream stuff , they have a little bar that's worth checking out....kind of an oddball place....film geeks and such... but I like oddballs.
Then you can go to Trinity Groves for beers at Luck....bunch of restaurants in there too but I rarely go over there.
