The best time to go to Galatoires on a Friday is at between 1:30 and 2:30. Depending on the size of your group, you probably only have a one cocktail wait upstairs. Plus you walk into a party and it is easier to make the turn.
ETA: Obviously I mean the real Galatoire's on Bourbon, not whatever strip mall facsimile Georges is trotting out in your neck of the woods.

I like to be there for the party start to finish.
Oh, and Hooper will call you a name dropper for mentioning George.

The only problem with getting there for the beginning is sneaking out of work on a Friday morning. Much easier to disappear post lunch on a Friday, or so I've heard.

Is the kitchen serving between lunch and dinner?

I never said that, silly.
I said the pastas were comparable. And they were. Every Olive Garden is supposed to make homemade, fresh pasta...mixed, kneaded, and cut. The pasta I had at their cooking school (In Chianti) as well as the Baton Rouge OG was absolutely comparable to the 50+ pasta dishes I had throughout Italy.
It's strange you would comment on my palate when I'm the one who experienced this...not you.

Yep. Kitchen serves as long as they are open.

In time, you'll be able to do as you wish on Fridays. You can elevate to Jack Gordon (RIP) status and send stand ins.
