there is a really good brick oven pizza place on east parkway(highway 321) on the right before glades road. other than pancakes, everything is pretty much chain restaurants. there are a few places that aren't chains, but not very good. bubba gump is good.

also take the trip across the mountains into cherokee north carolina, beautiful drive. it's an indian reservation town and there is a ryan's type of buffet there isn't bad.
