If you want to drop $500 on dinner then The Modern is the way to go. Times Square is only worth it if you're in the "police family" box where you can get a police escort, otherwise it sucks. That time of year shouldn't be hard to get a table in the dining room at The Modern. Do the tasting menu with wine pairing and artisan cheese cart. Memories you will have. If you like Russian food and Vodka then the Firebird is just a walk away from the theatre.
