Happy's reopening across old location?

There's a giant Happy's sign across O'Haras's (former Happy's location) so either they're just holding onto what looks like the original Happy's sign or is their a chance they actually reopen across the street? Seems a little goofy to have two Irish themed bars across from each other.

I miss the Happy's on Poydras. It was an awesome spot to hang out before games/events.

Make it half a dozen Irish themed bars, some breweries, and maybe a few Italian restaurant/bars.
Baton Rouge might have found their niche' bar scene. College kids love some Irish themed bars.

Is it the original happy sign with “Happy Jack” that looked like this:
Or that abortion of a logo they changed it to:

The sign I mentioned is the one they used to have across the front of the building.

I used to go to the Happy's Irish Pub on Poydras and I would say that I miss it except I like the Copper Vine Wine Bar that is there now even better.

December of last year there was an article that Chad Hughes was moving it to that old Lucy’s/Lava Cantina spot. But that was a couple of lawsuits ago for him and almost a year ago.
Hopefully gets opened back up. Downtown needs all the help it can get.
