Waffle Cheese Fries. I fail every time. I do fry the fries in a small fryer and then used the oven to bake the cheese, but the fries always seem to lose their crisp.

They come with the Dutch oven roasters. I have a couple of them. I stack them in a black cast iron and place the steak on top. It creates a buffer between the heat of the skillet.



Eta any sort of rack or method to elevate the steak will do
