Home hotdog: Mustard, chili, cheese and sometimes a pickle spear.
Has anyone been to New Jersey and eaten at Rutt's Hut? Saw them featured on the Travel Channel. They have mustard relish and it looked good. Anyone tried it?
Plus, the Superdawg in Chicago.

Chicago style dog is my favorite and I do not put ketchup on dogs that's a sin. Plus in Chicago we use Vienna dogs only so it's only cow aholes and lips vs 13 different animals bungholes.

Spicy/Hot ketchup (Specifically Whataburger's is fire).
As far as a hot dog goes. It's chili, mustard & onions. I also like when the bun is in foil. That way it's a little moist.

My oldest doesn't eat them often, but when she does she only likes mayo on her hot dog. I find that strange.
My youngest only likes ketchup, but she just eats the bun and no wiener.

I typically go with chilli, cheese, and a couple lines of sriracha. With limited available condiments, I'm not above a mustand and ketchup combo.
IMO, the real offense is when someone dredges their hamburger through a pile of ketchup before each bite.
