quote:All sounds great. My favorite premixed steak seasoning is Tex Joy, from just down the road from you...but I go more to sea salt and fresh ground pepper on my good steaks. Sorry about the steer explanation, but with that big arse picture of Texas next to your name, I just couldn't pull back.
i like a nice thick 1.5-2 inch ribeye that has been littly rubbed with montreal steak seasoning and seared on open flame then cooked until the meat is just slightly more tense than the space bettween thumb and finger on open hand (medium rare)
sereve with a room temp red
some grilled asparagus
and a potato
yum
and yes I know what a steer is

quote:Even though I order ribeyes/filets at certain restaurants this is how I feel as well.
I don't eat steaks at a restaurant, because I like to cook my own.
quote:
zesty Italian salad dressing...beat the crap out of the meat...Tony's...fresh ground pepper in the bowl...Worcestershire sauce
I use all of the same except I don't beat my meat...maybe it would taste better if I did.
quote:That's different...what affect does the citrus have on the steak?
lemon and lime...orange
quote:Going to try this next time I grill.
2 minutes before taking off of grill brush on some Dale’s Reduced Sodium sauce with garlic butter
