I drank an endeavor last night that was bottled 9-10-12 and it was half the beer it used to be. 3 months is a good guideline.

I haven't been able to get a drinkable Endeavour in BR for months... pififul
Weren't you the person who made the move to BR recently?

The hop rising I'm currently drinking was bottled in April. No hops whatsoever, just a malt bomb.
The SSR I drank last night/this morning was a month past best by date and still kicking with hop aroma/flavor but I doubt it was what it could be.

Here is what it looked like a week or so ago. I rent space at a wine cellar here.
Some highlights are
I have a bunch at home in a wine fridge also.
Now who wants to trade me some Cantillion?

I can taste a difference after two weeks. I have a refined palate.

Slim pickings at the moment, headed to Hou next week to restock
Cigar city Bolita, Weyerbacher heresey and 17, Timber beast
THA, BCS and a case and a half Pumpkinator

The Batch 9000 is the barrel aged version which I only have the two of so I'm not trading those.
I live in Denver so we get the best beer distribution on the planet. I'm sure I can go to the store and I get something y'all like. We get Cantillon but it only comes 2-3 times a year and sells out in a day.

I have 10 and 11 but only 1 of each. It is a beer that improves with age so I am hoping to sit on em for 4-5 years. I have a buddy that goes to Darkness and Darklord day every year so he hooks me up. I have Darklord vertical going back to 08, may drink that next year. Most of my cellar is big stouts, barrel aged beers and a few sours.
The key to being able to hold on to em if off site storage. My cellar is near downtown and I live in the burbs so I can't get a few in me and decide to open something that I shouldn't.

Your first born. I only have the one and i haven't tried it before. Y'all have Cantillon on the shelf so I would like to trade shelf beers here for it. We get all the Russian River, great divide barrel beers, I go to all the Avery barrel aged releases, and Firestone, etc.....plus there are a bunch of great local breweries you probably haven't heard of that don't distribute outside the metro area.

You have any Crooked Stave Limitted Releases up for grab?

Sure, I am a member of the cellar reserve and go by there just about every Friday. And no, I drank all my Persicas.

Persica is supposed to be a 1st qtr release 2013. I'd send a cantillon bottle over to you in good faith if you think it won't be a problem to pickup an extra bottle (aren't members entitled to first choice at extras?)

Last year I got two Persica so I may be lucky and get 3 this year. If I trade one it won't be for a shelf beer

I agree. It differs from beer to beer, but 3 months is a good guideline in my book.

I took a bunch to a party last night and gave Rouge a bunch for beer trades next week so I'm running a little low.
