The one in Perkins Rowe (BR) has gotten worse and worse over the years. I don't see it lasting much longer at that location. I'm not sure about the location downtown though.

Gave VC a try the other day after a yearlong hiatus. The food is still bland. I don't get it. Like they've never been to Superior and noticed that you should actually be using spices and marinades.

I agree with Paul, Velvet cactus isn't better. They have good outdoor area. Food is average

We went to Velvet Cactus once and it was awful. The bean dip tasted like it came from a can. We haven't been back since. A friend took his junior high age daughter there for her birthday; he said the margaritas were average and her shrimp quesadilla had shrimp with the tails still attached.

I think Rock and Rowe on Thursdays has worked out pretty well for giving Kona, CPK, and Lava Cantina a 3rd busy night to deal with - I'm sure that helps. I was there a few weeks ago and all 3 patios were packed.

The margiritas were hella strong, it was good but not the best. Just hit new in the feels with the music vibe.

Looking back the food was so-so

This place is horrible, it's so bad it's on my blacklist.

Terrible establishment with sucky food and worse clientele. Move it out to Denham where it belongs.

Just ate at the one in DFW and enjoyed the food. Most DFW Creole food sucks. My expectations were low for a Creole/Mexican fusion.

I got the crawfish & gator dip. Solid. Then got catfish atchafalaya. Really really good. Drinks strong and tasty.

Vibe downstairs was laid back and cool. Upstairs...someone mentioned Affliction...yup.

I'll go back for the food for sure. It beats Papadaeux's by a mile.

It's everything that's bad about classic rock radio mixed with everything that's bad about restaurants in 2017
