Had it once, and it was the best I have ever had from the NOLA area. Ask them to sample it since you are buying 100 lbs.

Nothing to do with a storm. It's for concessions for a festival.

You want Best Stop within an hour of NOLA?

Best Stop = Ronnies

Right down to the smoked boudin. And like I always say on the F&D board they have better boudin balls. Have yet to find better.

Maybe the guys on the Food Board know of a better place. They always have good finds for me.

In NOLA you will spend close to 500 for that much boudin and it will taste like crap.. Dont even bother with anything east of BR. There is a place in Prarieville I heard was decent, but I have not tried it so wouldnt recommend it for that much money.

Do you find that their boudin balls have a flavor reminiscent of Popeyes chicken when you get it fresh??

Never had anything bad from them before. Should only take about an hour to get there from BR.

bergerons in port Allen or beniots in addis (great smoked boudin) ronnies is good also. I'm not a fan of Jerry lees the casing is too rubbery. I prefer one with a crisp snap

Agree the place smells like fried chicken for sure.
It was a Cajun fried chicken joint for many years.

I just picked up, 3 links of smoked boudin, 3 boudin balls, 1 link of Andouille and a small bag of cracklins.

It gets rave reviews around here so a lot of people like it but I find it has too strong of a liver taste but that is just me, now I love his smoked andoullie and sausage, I made a big pot of gumbo tonight with it, is also a super clean store

PS his hog head cheese is great
