Will have a day and a half away from family, need some recs for me and my 17 yo.

I'll ask them as well, but most are older and cook at home.

Bon Creole - I will go out of my way to hit this place up.

fantastic overstuffed seafood po-boys and a really good seafood gumbo (served with a side of rice and potato salad)

if you add 15-20 minutes to your drive it will open a bunch of dining options

Carribean Ice is legit. Jane's seafood. Abears for a burger. Or go to Kim's chinese on main and get the OG, green onion delight.
