Not sure what you currently have, but last time I tried to order a beer at Ruffino's, I think the most palatable offering was Abita Amber (I assume you have Canebrake these days). And I'm not sure what your options are with draft-only seasonals, one-offs, and what-not.
My suggestions for just regularly available bottles that would be safe bets, IMO:
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale - classic representation of the style, very well-know and respected.
Stone IPA - another hoppy standard.
Parish Envie - nice local pale ale.
Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen - widely considered to be the best German wheat beer, pairs nicely with a variety of foods.
Stone Russian Imperial Stout - world class beer, great pairing with desserts, will age gracefully.
Saison Dupont - classic, traditional saison/farmhouse ale; light, refreshing, and flavorful.
NOLA Irish Channel Stout - a creamy, chocolately medium-bodied stout, great local beer, if only you can stand the sight of a can on the white table cloth.
Duvel - belgium strong pale ale, another beer of fame.
Lazy Magnolia Timber Beast - nice hoppy, rye beer.
If draft-only stuff is an option, than you get even more craft.
It's doesn't take a large list, just a few quality options. Take a look only at the lists for places like Boucherie or Cochon. Even Coquette with like six beers. They do a lot with a little.

Hopefully this will put Le Cerole out of business, have attempted to go there 2 times and sat for 30 min without getting waited on before leaving both times, the older lady that appears to be the manager could not be more rude.
That's a shame. I've only been once and enjoyed the hell out of it. Wasn't many tables so we got pretty good attention. Food was really good.
