I assume you have boiled shrimp all the time, or do I need to call ahead and order?

How much does that run? Might have to start getting that
It's $59.99 and includes hushpuppies, catfish strips, tail on domestic shrimp fried, and local fried crab fingers. It should feed 8-10. It's a ton of food.

Any chance you can get yer hands on a whole gator? Or maybe a whole gator tail?
I can check into it. I hunted gators for 12 years straight and know a bunch of people that hunt them.

What do you sell your fresh crabmeat for? Any problems with shells? Honestly, I've done better getting crab meat from Sam's than I have from the local seafood places. I could never figure that out.
What kind of crabmeat do you buy at sam's? Is it local?
All crabmeat will have some shells in it. You just have to pick through them and pick the little shells out. Crabmeat is picked by hand and it's hard not to have any shells at all in the meat. There is no filtering process for the shells. With that said, some crab pickers do better jobs with the shells than others.
We have all types of crabmeat.
Jumbo Lump- $17.95
Lump- $10.95
Claw- $9.95
Fingers- $10.95
That's for local crabmeat.

Yes we do have them most of the time but if you want them hot it's better to call in advance. We don't boil a ton of shrimp during the week and do most of them on the weekend.

I don't know if it's local or not. And I do pick through it and find a few shells. But the crab meat I have gotten from local seafood places seems to have a lot more shells. I don't want to have to destroy the lumps to get the shells out. Bigger lumps = better bisque.
$17.95 seems fair. I'm gonna give it a shot.

friend and i ate there for lunch today. I was impressed with how much seafood was on the plate. I think the grilled/blackened/boiled seafood beats fried any day (thats a preference at any restaurant for me). I was pleased with how fresh it was and how fast it was considering how many people were there.
The only critique i will give is that the hush puppies seemed burnt. i took one bite and didnt eat them.

This is KEY, Have bought real Louisiana crabmeat from OTH several times and he only sells the good stuff, Have bought the pasturized crap from other markets in the past and it is best to feed to the cats
