High expectations for this shite. If it doesn't live up to the hype, Andrew and Co. will heard about it.

All I want to know is why the difference from the initial pic to the final. Maybe some of you brewing boys can elaborate. Does something that drastic happen in between? I was thinking this thing was going to come out looking like a Tree House beer.

Color doesn't matter, as long as it tastes great. Just curious

If that's really it and that light in the first pic vs coming out of the tap then they will lose their reputation come tomorrow, I don't think the first pic is real......prob a troll

It's fricking beer with hops. There are plenty of beers out there in a nickle's distance from it. The branding gives it it's ultimate uniqueness. This ain't the second coming of Jesus y'all....

As pumped as it is, if it's shitty then expect the board to explode

Can anything match the hype? I'm sure it's a fine beer, one among many others. There's nothing life changing about it. And, after you've had 2 or 3, your're ready to drink something else.

Still debating if I should go. About an hour and a half time one way. I'm alone this weekend and looking for something to do, otherwise I wouldn't even consider it.

disagree about beers a nickel distance from it, considering we are Louisiana and only now getting THA. Nothing else being brewed in La is close to Ghost and I like the new Bayou Teche DIPA and Great Raft but still put Ghost ahead of both by a decent margin.
now IPA what IPA would be on the level of this if it is on a Ghost like level?

What I have surmised from my reality is that there are those few who have discriminating palates and can appreciate the nuances in similar products. I ain't that guy. Sure, there are DIPA/IPAs I like more than others. Big fan of Crowd Control right now. The newness fades, and I look for something else to try. I haven't had ghost in over a year, probably longer. Wasn't blown away by it then. Didn't go back for more. I'd try it again if they wouldn't sell out in 30 minutes.

Some of the early batches of ghost were hit or miss IMO. A year ago, I thought the recipe was ok. Now it's consistent and great. Iookimg forward to trying this.

I'm happy for you. Again, I haven't had any in so long I don't know how it compares to other stuff readily available.
