It's good.

Don't get all worked up about it.

Godspeed to everyone going.

Nah. Avoiding beer for the most part, sacrilegious as that sounds. I'll get my hands on some eventually.

I may regret this but I'm heading out. I'll at least stop at Poche's and get some food.

Can you bring some out to me on the way back? In Metairie, so you don't have to worry about being mugged or shot

The reviews are in...

I was lucky enough to try a bottle last night. It has the floral aromas of Jockamo with a bit of sweetness from Canebrake. Would drink again.

Why is the taproom's doors still locked? After 5 warmup beers, I really gotta pee.

If that's really it and that light in the first pic vs coming out of the tap then they will lose their reputation come tomorrow
They already make the best 2-3 beers in the state... tad on the dramatic side.

Calm down baw you are over reading into a hint of sarcasm, but good to know you'd give a reach around to everyone who works there.

All I want to know is why the difference from the initial pic to the final. Maybe some of you brewing boys can elaborate. Does something that drastic happen in between? I was thinking this thing was going to come out looking like a Tree House beer.

I'm not positive where they took that pic, a filter or lighting could change the pic quite a bit. But generally it is possible for a beer to clear up quite a bit when they are conditioning it to bottle. The yeast is what makes a lot of those cloudy beers cloudy. Some is definitely due to hops. Both yeast and hop matter can settle out producing a clear beer.

And believe it or not, there are people out there that think the cloudy IPAs are not great because the style generally demands clarity.
I personally don't care one way or the other. As you stated, if it tastes good who cares. But because you might be able to see through this beer Doesn't tell me much on a pre judgment.

My bad.

I have it on good authority that you're gonna want to drink Opus over Ghost 10/10. Sources and whatnot

Also, I for one am excited about taking detailed notes on batch one, so as to compare it to every other batch that is changed from here on out.
