Sat in line for about 1.25 hours. But met BugAC and his buddies. Had a great time. Got some parish swag and opus.

Great beer, nothing really exceptional to set it apart from many other single IPA's though. And at the price point I'd much rather Envie.
ETA: that Reve is legit, hopefully he does a barrel aged version

So the line looked like that @ 10 minutes to 11:00. Doors did not open until eleven. If you had plastic and just wanted 4pks/cases you had to wait in line. If you had cash you could go in and sit at the bar and I imagine you could buy bottles there too. They opened a cash line for 4pk/cases to try to help move the line.
A lot of cases sold. Saw about 4 different people buy six cases. Some twos and threes. The line was somewhat of a cluster. As people in line from the register out the door blocked incoming pub customers, who had to beak through the line in order to get to the bar. Really, this was poorly managed as customers/employees (with dollys) leaving with cases had to break line too.
Didn't try a draft as I was driving back to BR. Have some cooling now. Will report later.

Lighter than Envie with min hops on tongue followed by peachieness and finishes with a slight orange peel bitterness.
Envie is cheaper and would enjoy either on an equal level. But hey, that's me. I'm not that guy who can distinguish the hill the hops were grown on.

Two duches had vouchers for ghost. As that sat at a table by those of us in line, they let it be known that they would part with them for $50 each so they could escape the heat early and hit the pool. Didn't see any takers.

Come on, I am sure they had a rush early but damn, I pulled in around 2-2:30 and parked right in front, walked in, grabbed what I wanted in 10 minutes and was done.......
If anyone in the Houma/Thibodaux area missed out let me know, I shitlorded enough to share....

Coming early was dumb. When we left at about 2:30 the guy at the register told me they were just cracking the third pallet and they still had a little over half of what they brewed left. Even with all the six case shite lording going on, there was still PLENTY to be had.
The line was dumb though. Only having one point of sale for everything? Terrible planning. At the beginning it was moving about one customer every 15 mins. Thank god we brought cash.

Yea I agree there, but it was posted that he thought he would have some left into early next week, no way was a whole batch selling out in one day.

Reve and fuzz were legit. I like the opus also. Getting the first glass out of the tank from the next batch of ghost made my day though. It was a great beer day.
