If I couldn't eat meat I wouldn't want to live.

I eat grilled chicken or fish damn near every night. I never realized how many carbs I ate everyday until I started dieting and trying to cut them down.

Agreed. Now that I'm back to keto I remember why it worked so well for me...It's easy to stick to. I don't miss carbs, besides beer, and I get to eat my favorite foods ad nauseum.

Just gotta watch my alcohol consumption.

I really want to get back into working out. I constantly come up with excuses for myself not to, but I need to nut up. Keep letting my inner lazy fatass win.

Same here. What was killing me was fricking milk. I used to make protein shakes with like three cups of whole milk not realizing milk has an absolute frick ton of sugar carbs in the lactose.

Yep. I found this cool milk,

I don't drink milk since going keto still, but this nutrition profile is great.

If you need less fat for your macros, they make 2% also.

You have to get rid of the beer. If I have beer it's only one day of the week now. I really donnt have any at all now unless I'm at some event.

try unsweetened cashew milk, calorie countdown milk by hood or Kroger Karbmaster milk. all work great. or heavy cream and water.

Yeah I have been cutting out beer altogether since going full keto (had some last weekend, but regret it). Bourbon, vodka, and a little wine to get me by.. but even those I should stay away from most of the time. First time I lost a ton of weight, I didn't drink at all for 3-4 months. Best part of that was keto + sobriety meant when I finally did drink again, 2 drinks and I was toast

I just use water now to mix with my protein. It doesn't taste nearly as good though but oh well.

I use an unsweetened almond/coconut mix for my milk now when doing protein shakes. better than water and hardly any carbs.

Nobody feels bad for you. You come in here talkin about triple plays again, that don't have anything to do with baseball, and you shall be taunted a second time.

Now go away.

I could never get protein shakes to mix well with almond or coconut milk (in a blender bottle). Tips?

dunno man, I just shake it...sometimes I find a little chunk or something or see some powder on the lid that didn't mix, so I just close it back up and shake it some more. Never been a huge issue for me.

Maybe it was the protein I was using. Musclepharm combat powder. It's not a whey isolate so it had egg protein and casein in it.
