If you saw my cracklin thread, you'll know I won't be weighing for a few days, haha.
Gonna carb up tonight...haven't decided what kind of food though.

I just took a look at it! Pretty cool idea. I'm sure it tasted pretty damn good. I don't cracklin too often, but I am a fan.

Cheat meal this past Friday sucked
The wife made plans for us to go to dinner with her best friend and her husband
Roux 61 (first time)
Fried Pickles
Blackened Redfish with 3 grilled shrimp on a bed of pasta with lobster sauce
Food wasn't bad, but for 1 app, 2 drinks, and 2 entrées.... a $98 bill is freaking high considering all that same stuff cost me $45 when we go Mexican.
Last time going there

Tonight's carbs:
Was taking care of my sister's kids today. They love outback so I stopped by and picked up a free bloomin onion (something they do on occasion). Ate a bit of that as appetizer.
Then we headed to Vincent's, another of the kids' favorite places.
I got the corn and crab bisque (ate the bread bowl) and then the canneloni. Also got a side meatball.
Dessert was a mooyah mint chocolate shake.
No painz, no gainz

Alright, back home as of last night. My eating and drinking this weekend was not as locked down as I intended it to be. I racked disciprine. But it was a blast, so there's that.
-Thursday night we got into DC at 11:30PM.. proceeded to drink until 3AM
-Friday I didn't eat til noon, and didn't eat carbs. However we started drinking at around 3PM while we prepared stuff for the party Saturday. Slow drinking until about 11PM-12AM, then to bed. Had mostly wine and whiskey, throw a beer or two in. Not too excessive, but certainly a lot of cals from hours of drinking 1-3 drinks/hr and snacking on food throughout.
-Saturday the wheels came off of the tracks. Ate eggs/bacon/cheese/flatout wrap for breakfast, then didn't eat until ~5PM, started snacking on party foods that looked acceptable (deli meats, cheese, olives, artichoke hearts).. while we finished prepping for the engagement party (not mine) and began drinking. Wasn't reserved with my drinking, had probably 5-6 beers, several glasses of champagne, wine, etc.. and once I got to drinking, the eating inhibitions went away as well. Started tearing into boudin balls, crawfish etouffee, bacon-wrapped, cream cheese stuffed dates, etc.
-Sunday the dietary trainwreck continued. Didn't eat breakfast, and had a light lunch.. grilled swordfish with lightly fried leeks and a mixed veggies (mushrooms, sauteed spinach, tomatoes, and a sauce. Sauce likely had some sugar but was not sweet, so I had a little but avoided most of it). No drinking until dinner. At dinner time, the groom's parents took us out to a legit Korean restaurant. They are Korean and have tried tons of places in the DC metro area and suburbs. This place was phenomenal..Woomi Gardens. I ate and ate and ate, and I ate everything in sight. A) It was all delicious and I said 'frick it', and B) I didn't want to offend the hosts and their generous offer. The place was not cheap and they took 14 of us out to dinner.. My guess is they probably dropped a cool grand on dinner, or close to it. Had lots of rice wine and about a half a bottle of soju, and ate the everliving shite out of the beef shortribs
TL;DR - My diet was fricked Saturday and Sunday
Fiancee and I are doing a 24 hour fast today to try to balance out some of the eating and drinking, but ultimately I know it's not gonna be pretty on the scale this week. I mostly wanted to do a 24 hour fast to get myself back into ketosis asap.

Man I want to try some Korean food, not sure if I ever have.
Sounds like you had a pretty fun weekend though. A friend of mine lives out in DC, been wanting to check it out.

Korean food is fire. Those bastards cook some amazing food.
I love kimchi. My fiancee's family always brings back tons from DC. The kimchi we can find in BR isn't very good. Flavor isn't quite there, there's sugar and rice flour in it.. but there's legit arse kimchi up north that doesn't have sugar or rice flour, and is spiced perfectly.

I've been snacking on Parmesan crisps, specifically, Cello Whisps. The only ingredients are Parmesan and sea salt, so ostensibly, high protein, low carb. They just seem too good to be true. I've been low carbing for four weeks and bought some ketostix a few days ago. I am barely in ketosis and trying to figure out why.
I guess I could stop having the crisps to see if they are the culprit.

What do you mean? I don't know much about ketosis, it's something you can feel or ?

Ketostix test for ketosis. Urine test.
