I didn't weigh yesterday so I don't know just how bad the damage was, but up 2 pounds even after a 24-hour fast. IF this AM, but not going for another round of 24-hour yet. Maybe next Monday.

There is no reason to limit protein. The body won't raise your blood sugar levels above baseline because you are eating an all meat diet. GNG may happen, but it is not the scare tactic that it is portrayed.
KG just posted another article as well. LINK

Any sushi eaters here?
Any suggestions for keeping it pretty healthy besides swapping the rice for cucumber and staying away from most of the sauces?

Brown rice?
I haven't had much sushi over the last couple of months.
Narruto, sashimi
That's about it, and in limited amounts.
I'd kill for a couple of rainbow rolls and some uni right now.

I'll figure something out. Trying to decide between Sushi Bros and Kyoto 2 for tonight.
About to break this IF fast in 45 minutes with a whole lot of chicken breast. So excited.

soooo they added a travel board...but a workout board will never be a thing.
Very interesting...I'd assume a health and fitness board could get more traffic than a few of these boards, but what do I know?

Yeah it's right above Food and Drink board. How exciting.
ETA: Does anyone know why there isn't a health and fitness board? I wonder if chicken or any of the mods ever gave any reasoning behind it.

Eating too much protein i.e. your fat to protein ratio is not high enough will keep you out of ketosis. If that was not the case then I would have been in Ketosis while doing the Rapid Fatloss Handbook diet(PSMF).
Most people do not go into Ketosis unless they are getting atleast 50% of cals from fat. Granted for most this is not a problem because they are eating fattier cuts but you will not get into ketosis if your ratio is all screwed up. Now one day won't screw it up, but multiple days in a row will.

I eat tons of sashimi when i go to the sushi place or get the grilled steak appetizer with no sauce.

Yep grass fed butter is one of the healthiest things you can eat.

I'm just glad I was directed to this thread at least. Seems like everything needed is here.

Y'all think a few beers is an auto throw-you out-of-ketosis?
Posted on 4/13/16 at 2:24 pm to BRgetthenet
depends, if you plan for it correctly and don't drink a high carb beer, probably not...but if you're drinking after a full day's worth of carbs and don't drink something small like mich ultra then, probably...but you'll probably be back in Ketosis by the next day, assuming you get back on track.

Ok. I've had pork rind and chicken salad today. Hardly any carbs.
That's it.
I'm guessing IPA's are a no go.
Mich ultra is not my thing. Any others ya think?

I think something like a Barrel aged imperial stout would be your best bet.
Posted on 4/13/16 at 3:26 pm to BRgetthenet
why not some hard liquor instead?
