yea I had a bad weekend as we had our church festival and we cooked crawfish etouffee all weekend so I used Saturday as my carb up day. Had 3 bowls of the etoufee, 2 bbq burgers, 3 pieces of fired catfish with the etoufee on top, couple shrimp on a stick, bowl of jambalaya, and a banana split. but did all that in a 5 hour period.

Also did cardio saturday morning and morning/afternoon yesterday. The fasted from 4 on saturday til 7 last night. Last night just had about a pound of chicken. woke up this morning at 190, but looked way more shredded. Blood sugar was in low 70s this morning so overall damage wasn't too bad.

Back to the grind hard today. Slept through cardio this morning and will try to hit it at lunch then lift tonight.

Starting the Bigger, Leaner, Stronger plan today. IF with 1800 calories and making sure I get 200g of protein.

Here's what is on tap for tonight:

Flat Bench Press – Warm-up sets and then 3 working sets (4 – 6 reps per set)

Incline Bench Press – 3 working sets (4 – 6 reps per set)

Weighted Dip – 3 working sets (4 – 6 reps per set)

Cable Crunch – 3 sets (enough weight to allow 10 – 12 reps per set)

Captain’s Chair Leg Raise (no weight, as many as you can do) – 3 sets

Bicyles (no weight, as many as you can do) – 3 sets

I knew April was going to be a rough month for the diet, and it has not disappointed. Busy, lots of events, and trips.

Saturday the SO and I had our anniversary dinner at Ruth's Chris. Had calamari w/no sauce.. Chop salad no croutons, and plenty of wine to go with the 16oz ribeye, creamed spinach, and mushrooms. Kept it pretty close to keto, minus the calamari, and ate maybe half of my steak. After Ruth's we went to CBD and had a few beers, so that royally blew the diet.

Yesterday, had a company crawfish boil. Did well, stayed away from the bud light keg and avoided the corn and potatoes. Got home and had a beer after I mowed the yard, then we had some friends over to show off their new baby, had some celebratory champagne and bourbon. Kept the eating under control.

That said..

306/290/220

Not as bad as one would think. Leaving for Denver Wednesday.. I fully expect to put weight back on during that trip.

ETA

Forgot I had a few bites of cheesecake at Ruth's.. good lawd

Ate pretty good the weekend minus yesterday afternoon bc my daughter made her first Communion. Damn chicken tenders, chips/salsa, and fruit.

Still went get my numbers checked. Body fat down 2% to 21.3%. 4lb loss of body fat mass!

This one

I'm curious how accurate it is, too. It gives you your Body Weight, BMI, Body Fat, Water Weight, Muscle Mass, and Bone Mass

I'm sure it's at least in the ball park. At least something to help me track my progress. It syncs automatically with my fitbit HR so it's pretty cool I guess.

That's the idea for me too. It may be off 2-3% but ultimately it allows me to effortlessly track that number.. as long as it goes down, I'm good. My bf% is way too high to care about having pinpoint accuracy on the bf% right now.

those scales are usually way off but you shouldn't give a shite. Just use it to gauge progress and that should be easy enough to do by just using the same routine everytime like doing it every monday morning after taking a piss and doing nothing else. same with weight.

waist measurement is another easy one to track progress.

Yup
I was pretty lazy and didn't feel like cooking the steak or chicken
Just went with a can of Hormel Chili and a can of refried beans with my homemade queso
