Have not heard of any actually out there but just read about the concept....I can see a large overhead cost but the farming area is free (at least till the Govt. get's a whiff)

You raised many good points in that thread, tav. I have to have someone explain to me why the Northshore (much smaller population and even closer to the NOLA) can sustain such a good dining scene.
I really believe that people are used to and demand better...BR's scene can imprive and grow, but as with everything in capitalism, its all about supply and demand. I hope BR's scene does grow...it needs inspiration...its just said because it is happening in Jackson (Mint, Ro Chez, etc.)...I know BR can do it.

That is the answer to the Northshore question....those are New Orleans people and with their incomes they are used to eating in New Orleans...no way they would settle for less on the Northshore.
