Just get the Hawaiian salad, or whatever it is named from Sushi Yama-->several types of fish, crab, papaya, mango, tomatoes and avocado...It is really big and good to split as a BIG appetizer or enough for a whole meal...or add a roll or two if you pig out at sushi places like I do

Sushi Yama sucks and they are way overpriced. Ichiban's is by far the best place to get sushi or hibachi

Ichiban isnt by far better than anyplace.. They are good and so is sushi yama. Both are about the same. I prefer toyko cafe's habachi over ichiban which is overpriced.

I found sushi yama good but kind of overpriced. I really can't decide what sushi place is my favorite in BR.

Hello sushi and ichibahn are my 2 favorites. Only reason for hello sushi is the ninja roll, if the others had that roll I'd probably never eat there but that roll is the shite.

KOTO has the best sushi.

Signature Rolls..Koto(Bomb, Hawaiian, Four Seasons,etc..) and Sushi Yama(Lava, Mt Fuji,etc..)

Basic Rolls..Ichiban(Philly, Cali, Kani Naruto,etc..) and Sushi Yama(same)

Tsunami, solid, but mostly about the deck and it's Yups..

Most of the other BR places blow, though the Cowboy Roll at Tokyo Cafe is impressive.

In Nawlins try Sushi Bros, and Shogun for the best crunchy roll ever had, it's quite unique..also their Lobster Bake..Utah Roll.

YACK!!! Horrible sushi... Def one of the worst sushi restaurants in BR.

Hello Sushi and Drunken Sushi at pretty much at the bottom.

Ichiban, Sushi Yama, Toyko and Derek Chang are the tops.
Well I guess we egomaniacal North Korean dictators must like crappy sushi. I've eaten at your "tops" restaurants and I think that Hello Sushi (at least the one on Burbank) compares favorably and is a good value, which was the original question. I don't order the rolls BTW, I order nigiri.
