The casino has it here. Thank for the heads up. Love hopitulas and brown ale.

I was at the brewery sometime last week and they told me it was sold out because it's been so popular so I'm keeping my eyes and ears open to see if anyone has some

eta: linkovich - which casino?

The lesson is, it's not good or bad, but it depends on the people you are with.

Hey now, I loved Tiger beer. Maybe I just loved being 19 and in Singapore that made me like it though...

The NOLA beers are pretty good. I've had a few and they've all been good IMO.

They did a week ago, however, someone in here said that the brewery is having a hard time keeping it in stock. Hope they have it when you show up. I saw it on tap the other day but was already drinking dark stuff and didn't want to switch. I'm kicking myself now. If I get there before the fourth, I'll let you know.

speaking of the bulldog, is a "barney" a bulldog thing or is that everywhere. Was there a couple wed ago for the hockey game and my friends made me order a few. Very nice.

I obviously don't venture to far out there to far in terms of beer.

Barney is just a mix of Andygator and Purple Haze... Abita endorses it and a few other beer mixes.

Hurricane Saison is a seasonal beer, brewed for the Spring, so any that's still around is just lingering supply I guess.

I like the Bayou Teche beers... didn't like the LA 31 at first but it's growing on me. The Grenade is a pretty damn good beer. They are probably the best LA brewery at using local ingredients. I also had a version of the Grenade that was brewed with coconut, yum.

I always heard the story as your elbows didn't bend, instead of really long arms.

definitely not the worst i've ever had.

Same. We had the Grenade one and it wasn't wonderful, but it certainly wasn't so bad I couldn't drink it. I'd never buy/order it again, but I wasn't praying for salvation from it.
