Tramonte's used to have prime rib eyes on occasion. You have to ask, they are never in the case..
However lately they have not had any.

Alright so this is almost completely OT but I didn't want to make a new thread. I am gonna be in Nola for two days and want to go to a steakhouse, I am looking for somewhere that serves prime beef and knows what they are doing as I am quite particular. Thanks!

From my small amount of research, what about Dickie brennans? Is it any good, it is right next to my hotel.

Calvin's Bocage Market has the best prime filets. Whole Foods has the best aged prime ribeye. Good thing they are right across the street from another.

Dickie Brennan's is good, but I think a short cab ride or drive to Mr. John's on St. Charles is well worth it. Best traditional steakhouse in the city, IMO.

Dickie Brennans is the best Steak House in New Orleans hands down. Try the 16oz New York Strip in the cast iron skillet. Simply the best!!
Dick Brennan, Sr.'s Favorite Cut
USDA Prime Sirloin Strip
Creole seasoned & seared in a hot cast iron skillet - $36.00
