FoodSaver

This is what we use, I think ours is about 5 years old. We mainly use it to break up bulk packages of meat and leftover red beans, chili etc. It’s perfect for what we need.

I use Qt. & Gal. size Ziplock bags and a straw. I hold the straw in my mouth so my hands are free to seal the zip after I suck the air out. With the food in the bag, I seal the top leaving a straw size hole. I insert the straw and pinch around the straw to seal. I suck out the air and seal as I remove the straw. Only takes a few seconds. I've been doing this for over 30 years with great results.

Works for dry foods and liquids. I have too many kitchen gadgets already.
