Best place to see a games player base on PC

Tempted to purchase Titanfall 2. One of my favorite shooters in recent years and since it looked amazing on PS4, would love to see it on PC. But the player base just died on PS4, was nearly impossible to find games. So even though the campaign is a lot of fun, I won't waste my time if the MP is the same way on PC.
Every time I do a google search about it, I get a blog or message board post asking the same question. Is there a definitive site to go to for those numbers? Are they specific to the platforms, different for Origin and Steam?

I can’t find anything definitive. As of August the player count on pc was apparently like 2000, divided up by server. Apparently it’s not too tough to find a game on EU, but you’ll wait a while to get in a game on most servers.

It's included with Origin Access.

Any game sold on steam will show you users and peak times.
