If you have a wireless router, it should work as soon as its downloaded. You'll install TVersity then add your user name and password for your hulu account. If you don't have one, create one. You'll add things to your view list. Its not like on the PC where you can just go to the site and search.
Once you have it installed and linked to your hulu account. Turn on the media server, then your PS3. Under your XMB/video there should be a place for media servers. It will say something like "TVersity-yourcomputername". Click that...then video..then hulu..and your list will be there.
ETA: It sounds complicated, but its really easy.

havent tried hulu in awhile but i know at some point it was working - never modded or installed anything special
