We’ll have to disagree there. The best shite should come from beating the most difficult shite, not just grinding public events until you die of boredom.

I agree that there should be exclusive items that can only be acquired by completing that content. But I like that I am able to get other powerful gear from doing solo stuff.

BTW, I don't think we are PSN friends. I'm not sure what your username is from the clan list. I'm still down to do nightfall, anytime. Add me (ericbell) and shoot me an invite. We can do some of this powerful stuff and get our rewards.
ETA: What do you get if complete nightfall or the raid a second time before the reset?

Yea I’m mostly a weekend warrior guy myself I don’t know that I even have 20 hours in the game yet. Most of my clan is hard core though.

Why did they have to go and frick up Iron Banner? Nothing pleases me more than having blues drop I tell ya. And when I cash in coins they don’t drop anything 300. All been Low 290s which doesn’t do shite for me. fricking hell

I got mine from crtyparch. You know how this game works. Lucky drop. Took me a month to get that weapon. What I usually get is sidearms, fushions and snipers I’ll never use.

The irony is that the end game for destiny is to “make friendships”, and you can achieve the endgame solo if you want. You don’t have to do trials or the raid. And the stats on the armor is nearly identical across the board, really, so there is no point in doing those activities.
It’s dumb and it’s a watered down product. I defended vanilla destiny forever, but I can’t really defend Destiny 2. What made the first game fun has been abandoned, seemingly to pander to the casual player.

I see what you guys are saying and I'm glad I didn't get D1 then. It wouldn't have worked for me as I am casual and don't have many friends/colleagues that play.
D2 has been perfect for that. That's why I played the Division so long. Matchmaking worked on that game. It may not here, but I'm glad solo content is there.
Anyway, if you ever see me on in the afternoon, running around EDZ(just the church), shooting nowhere, I let my 6 year olds play sometimes. Pay me no mind.

Gotta find a group man. It changes the game completely.
I got D1 because I had an Xbox with no games on it and one of my friends said he played it. Next thing you know I’m in a clan with a bunch of old guys from the UK who are fun as hell to play with. They don’t mind dying a shitload or somebody being really drunk and fricking everything up as long as it’s entertaining and everyone is good enough to pick up slack.
I had more fun with D1 even playing solo. There was always the chance of leveling up or getting some random super badass gun to drop. PvP was like the Wild West, strikes we’re short and fun and dropped good stuff, it was a good time. I’m having fun with D2 as I’m learning it and getting better, but I’ve bout had enough of people camping out with mida, and sniper/shotgun ammo being in the same crates as rockets and swords.

Yeah. Usually I find a group of people I enjoy playing with through the lfg function on the destiny app.
Iron banner is lack luster atm but, it's early in the game so I'm not giving up hope yet that there will be improvements.

Yeah, may just start sending out random friend requests. It sucks but may end up me leaving the TD clan.
I like the PVP even though the mida thing was annoying. I don't suck enough to hate it but not good enough to love it.
I haven't seen the ammo issue you mention. I may have to pay attention more.
