Honestly probably a bunch of legal loopholes they had to figure out with underage gambling, shark cards giving the in game currency real monetary value, different countries with different gambling regulations, etc.
They have black jack, roulette, 3 card poker, slots, and virtual horse races. There's also a big wheel you can spin 1x daily for free and get a random prize (car, money, etc.). Little disappointed there's no craps table.

Some people can’t gamble if their country has gambling laws. I saw a video of somebody winning 2.5 million in slots earlier today. I’ve seen a lot of people get the new car that cost over 2 million from spinning the wheel. The only problem right now is the servers can’t handle this amount of players. It’s probably the most players GTAonline has had since the beginning.

Lol had a friend win the car on the wheel. I won $20K.
Played some blackjack with some friends for 30 minutes or so and left up $75K. One of my friends got up $350K.

I have about a million dollars for online.. what’s the best route to take to make more money? Bunker? Nightclub? Something else?

It’s been discovered that the game doesn’t save after every bet. You can just close the game and relaunch it with the same amount before before the bet. You can do it for the new car but it might take an hour to do it. Also a god mode glitch is currently very easy to do so might wanna stay in passive when you’re not in the casino.

The best way is with glitches.
Doomsday heists and setups only require 2 people.
1.Get the base that lets you do the Doomsday Heist at the top of the map, do Act I setups and heist, do Act II setups and make it to Act II heist
2. play the Act II heist with only 2 people (a little over a million in earnings at the max payout of 85% for the host or split 50/50 if with a friend who will keep repeating it with you) and this heist only takes about 15 minutes when you get good at it
3. pull your ethernet cable out once transaction pending at the bottom right of the screen is done during the end of mission cutscene
4. replay Act II heist without having to do setups
5. pull ethernet at cutscene
6. replay Act II heist without setups
7. pull ethernet...
8. repeat, repeat, repeat...
As long as you keep pulling the ethernet at that cutscene after the transaction pending finishes you'll have Act II on reserve if you ever need some quick cash. Eventually once you have what you want you may want to do Act III
for the hell of it.

Jim posted by far the most efficient way, but I enjoy flipping cars as a CEO. You can do it alone and if you're a good driver you can make about 80k profit per top-end car. Pretty chill way to play the game if you don't have much to do and just want to grind some money.

Buy the cheapest office for a million dollars. After that buy the vehicle warehouse the cheapest is about 1.25 million. Only sell the high end cars you steal not the low or middle range ones. After you get a full car warehouse it will only give top end cars that can sell for 80k. Just move cars in a solo or small lobby because players will try to blow up your car. If you’re selling solo only one car can be sold every twenty minutes. ceo vip jobs like sightseer and headhunter are great to run after moving cars. When you have enough money after that get the Chumash Bunker and upgrade it. Buy supplies for 75k and every 2 hours you can sell to Los Santos for 210k. The nightclub is the best money maker but requires the most amount of money to make a great. It’s passive income like the Bunker that makes 40k an hour and I’ve sold at max for like 1.5 million. Just go to work and let Gta characters watch tv so you can’t get kick. When you get off work all you do is one sell mission for a half million dollars. It’s ridiculously hard to make money early but at the end game money isn’t a problem.

I won $250k off a straight yesterday. Today came in with $20k went up to $96k and left with nothing
